I started exploring book arts in 2013, after a lifetime as "that creative kid," and a stubborn out-of-the-box thinker. I loved seeing all the beauty and potential that could be found in all the old objects we're so ready to discard, and I was inspired to start creating books using these found materials.

Cabbages & Kings Stationery is all the old, familiar things made new and a little funky, with a variety of paper goods created using found, vintage, and repurposed materials. Every item is made entirely by hand, with thoughtful attention to detail and a good sense of humor. Hand-assembled and hand-bound books feature a blend of unexpected papers, pockets, and journaling prompts. Cards and pin-back buttons feature unusual vintage images with typewritten commentary, and blank journals, framed images, postcards, envelopes, and other stationery goodies all offer the same sense of fun and encourage joy and discovery of self and others.

I welcome requests for custom work, bearing in mind that everything I create is done completely by hand in analog fashion, without any digital reproduction. Large quantities of similar items may be difficult to produce due to the unique nature of the materials I use, but I'm all about creative solutions, so let's try it!
