I'm an artist, educator and creative art therapy specialist, I love art and my daily inspiration is people and the beautiful world around us; and all I can imagine. I'm passionately engaged in the community as an independent artist/contractor with many organizations, art exhibitions and public art projects such as the U and I of Euclid Ave, a Gateway to East Cleveland. Using art as a pathway for healing the community has allowed me to serve on the board of directors for 4 non profits. Food Strong, Coit Rd Farmers Market, Little Africa Food Co-op and Can Journal.
Studying art at Tri-C/Ursuline on my healing journey of restoration after surviving a stroke and ruptured brain aneurysm helped me as an artist. Art for me is the most powerfully therapeutic tool I could used in my own recovery. Art, culture and community are my passion and sharing it with others only shows just how much we all have in common through art. Use art to tell your story and create a vision.
