I am a photo Illustrator who has been in business for over 30 years. My work is conceptual, layered, colorful, and textured. My photo illustrations allow the viewer to think and imagine beyond the image. I gain inspiration from wildlife, romantic themes, vintage retro objects. These works can be seen in personal art collections, on book covers and in editorial magazines.
My commercial illustrations carry a lifelike style that communicates the visual aspects of products and other objects in their best light. The mechanical drawing process I use translates best as pictorial perspective. I started as an airbrush illustrator but converted to digital work as that became the demand for print publications.
I also create decorative and typographic designs licensed for posters and merchandise.
In addition, I taught Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other professional software packages, as well as design and illustration subjects for over 20 years.
