Artist Statement
Collaborating with my husband Gary Dumm, the goal of our current series is to promote thinking about serious issues that face us today. The overuse of pesticides, global warming, dementia and automation are happening whether people want to acknowledge them or not...We as artists, are the reporters of our time, and I want the paintings to make a difference. I am collaborating on this series with my husband/graphic novel artist, Gary Dumm who does the concept and drawing and I finish with doing the painting. I also continue doing paintings on my own.
