For me, art is not so much planned as it is felt. I start with a feeling, then a color, then some lines and shapes and continue adding until I feel by job is done. I am not confined my fine tools; some of my favorite pieces have been completed using paper towels as my primary tool. Each piece is a living, changing thing and as all living things, they never stop evolving. Their spirits change with the times and people around them, and they never stop being felt.
I tend to use acrylic paints, though I enjoy all mediums. Acrylic is my favorite because it gives me flexibility; It can be fluid like watercolor, or thick and textured similar to oil. The lull of bright colors is not one that I can escape.
