Plein air and studio oil paintings.
I paint in order to convey the beauty of nature through landscape painting, taking note of even the smallest beauties, like the rhythm of water lapping the shore or the dance of glistening leaves in the breeze of a sunny summer day. My hope is that when people see my paintings, they are drawn into a place where all stress melts away and they can focus wholly for a moment on seeking out and appreciating the beauty that surrounds us.
The painting shown at left won an honorable mention at the Oil Painters of America this summer!
