Chris Seibert is a writer, director and performing artist who creates original works in collaboration with professional and community artists. She is the creator of the solo performances Fa(r)ther and Split (directed by Ivana Bevacqua); the plays F*** Me Love Me Aphrodite (with Adam Seehozer and Darius Stubbs), Ancestra (with Holly Holsinger), Insomnia (with Holly Holsinger and Raymond Bobgan); and the muti-media solo performance Cut to Pieces (with Raymond Bobgan). Current projects include new works with experimental filmmaker Robert Banks and painter John Carlson, and long-time collaborator and choreographer Kora Radella. Chris’ work has garnered her recognition and support from the Ohio Arts Council, Chesterfield Writer’s Film Project (LA), Chicago C.A.A.P., and DirectorsLabChicago. Chris is a recipient of the Creative Workforce Fellowship, a program of the Community Partnership for Arts and Culture funded by Cuyahoga Arts and Culture.
